Halo Control room.

I’m a huge Halo fan since I first played it as a kid and of course, I’m super hyped for Halo Infinite. After I heard the Reverie soundtrack I was super inspired to try something out with the Halo theme. I decided to challenge myself and try to build something in the Unreal Engine. I started with a box out in Cinema4d. After that, I modelled all the props for the scene and started texturing them in substance painter. I imported all the assets into Unreal and started with the lighting of the scene. I wanted to capture the blueish lighting in the control room. After I was done with the control room I noticed that I wanted to put something more into the scene so I decided to add a little outside area. I imported some Quixel assets to save up some time. I wanted to build a sandy desert scene that we saw in the early E3 Halo 5 teaser in 2013. I added some little ancient pieces to add some more mystery and animated the camera. The goal was for me to pay some homage to a videogame series I love and so learn more about modelling, texturing and overall lighting and composition.
